I have a friend of mine that takes pictures of himself standing in front of small private jets and exotic sports cars saying they are his. I actually fell for it, and once went to visit him, where I was informed he hadn't worked in years and was in debt over his head. It was a total farce. I was asked to keep it to myself so I did, but I lost a lot of trust for the guy, as he was a compulsive liar just trying to make all his friends feel bad. It's called painting yourself in a positive light. No one's life is perfect all of the time, and when I see someone attempting to paint themselves in a positive light, I begin to search for cracks in their facade (that is on the condition that I'm bored and have nothing better to do!). Actually, another lesson can be drawn here: the moment a person begins to envy another is the same moment that the stage is set for future disappointment. Yup. She's sitting there in her gawdy overly-sequined frocks with her face stuck in "wind machine" mode, yet she's making fun of J-Lo's dress/hair/ass. Gag! (I still usually end up watching the show though, because I like to see all of the pretty outfits that they're making fun of that I actually like.)
